PVA Sponges, Mops, & Towels PVA Sponge is very durable and highly chemical resistant. It will last for years by following some simple instructions:
PVA Sponges, Towels, & Wipes: The product is packaged wet with an anti-mildew and anti-mold solution. When first purchased, rinse out thoroughly with warm or hot water before initial use. Laundering in a washing machine is also recommended - avoid bleach. No need to dry - the product is used in a wet state.
PVA sponge becomes hard when dry. Simply rewet and it comes to life! If product is stuck together, soak for about 10 minutes in warm water. Better yet, wash with normal laundry - it will come out perfect. Store the clean, wet PVA sponge in a plastic zip bag or the clean, wet PVA shammy towel in its storage container.
Product is not affected by mold, odor, or mildew. If PVA sponge or PVA towels should develop mold or mildew (brown, black, or green spots), wash the product with liquid detergent and ammonia. If stains or odor should still be evident, soak in a 5:1 solution (5 parts water for 1 part liquid bleach) for about 5 minutes. NOTE: Product color may change - test for fastness. Wash or launder immediately.
The Super PVA Sponge Mops: Each mop comes dis-assembled. Connect the handle, carefully remove the clear shrink plastic on the PVA sponge, and follow these simple instructions:
The PVA sponge mop is shipped dry and the sponge is hard. Rinse or soak for about 10 minutes in fresh warm or hot water before use.
